Good Samaritan Hospital Home Health Agency has developed a Long Term Home Health Care Program to address the unique needs of patients with HIV related illness and AIDS. This program is designed to provide case management and coordination of patient care services by a specially trained community health nurse to ensure patients receive safe, appropriate, high quality health care services in their home.

The community health nurse works closely with the patient's physician and other community agencies to provide a coordinated plan of long term home care services. In addition to the services offered under the Long Term Home Health Care Program, this program provides access to clinical drug trials, enhanced physician services, substance abuse treatment services, pastoral care, mental health and dental services as well as patient education.
