WTBQ Radio (1100AM) hosts a show
by Bon Secours Charity's own Dr. Nicholas Belasco. The show, which made
its debut February 2011, is a half-hour segment which airs on the second and
fourth Wednesday morning of each month. The show is live from
8:00-8:30AM.
Nicholas Belasco, DO, "Dr. Nick", who is Board Certified in Family
and Osteopathic Medicine with the Bon Secours Medical Group and who has
specialty fellowship training in Sports Medicine provides a look inside
relevant health topics of the day and provides an accessible outlet for medical
news, "As more and more people get their medical information online, there
is a need to cut through some of the confusion and help people to make sense of
the information that is out there," he explains. "This program
will examine news that is pulled from the medical headlines of the day and will
help listeners to better understand these issues to create real health and
lifestyle changes in their own lives."
