Our Medical Oncology Department provides outpatient cancer treatment to adult and geriatric patients, including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, bone marrow biopsy, and other intravenous infusion therapy. All is administered by oncology certified registered nurses, and our entire staff works closely with our physicians who plan and administer your treatment.
You’ll find our staff to be highly experienced and understanding. They’ll work closely with you and your family from your diagnosis, through treatment and follow-up. They’ll also help you and your family develop successful strategies for meeting your physical and emotional needs. That includes coordinating any appropriate support services you may need, such as home care, social work services, pastoral care, nutrition, and hospice, if necessary. For us, cancer care encompasses treating and caring for the whole person.
