William L. Davis, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Davis is originally from Long Island, NY.  He attended medical school at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and received an M.D. with Distinction in Research degree.  After completing his orthopedic surgery residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland, he pursued further subspecialty training in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at the University of Connecticut and Yale University.  He received training in the treatment of sports-related injuries and disorders, concentrating on shoulder and knee problems.  A particular area of expertise for Dr. Davis is that of patellofemoral disorders (knee cap problems).  He has published a journal article on this subject and has presented work to an international audience at the annual AAOS Meeting.
